Son regard se porte sur la limite entre le r\u00e9el et le virtuel, sur l&rsquo;arch\u00e9ologie de l&rsquo;espace et sa repr\u00e9sentation. Lors de sa r\u00e9sidence \u00e0 la <em>Fondazione Claudia Cardinale<\/em>, elle travaille sur le concept de m\u00e9moire involontaire, en faisant explicitement r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 l&rsquo;anecdote de la Madeleine de Proust. Lors du vernissage, elle offre au public quelques madeleines cuites collectivement par le groupe en r\u00e9sidence \u00e0 l&rsquo;invitation de Giovanna. Sur l&#8217;emballage qui prot\u00e8ge le g\u00e2teau en forme de coquille se trouvent les souvenirs individuels des participants \u00e0 l&rsquo;atelier, \u00e9voquant leurs propres exp\u00e9riences synesth\u00e9siques. Giovanna Repetto pr\u00e9sente \u00e9galement un petit miroir de poche ayant appartenu \u00e0 l&rsquo;actrice et dont elle occulte une face avec un marqueur, comme pour pr\u00e9server sa m\u00e9moire pass\u00e9e.
